Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center serves as the philanthropic arm of Presbyterian Healthcare and their mission is to raise awareness and funding to enhance the ability of Novant Health to deliver remarkable medicine and compassionate care in the greater Charlotte area.

In 2004, the Foundation became an official entity of Presbyterian Healthcare. Since 1980, the Foundation has generated over 40 million in charitable giving for the hospital. The Foundation manages over 150 funds and more than $37 million is assets. Philanthropy through the Foundation has helped build Novant Health Cancer Center, St. Jude Affiliate Clinic at Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital, Harris Hospice Unit, Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital and Buddy Kemp Cancer Support Center.

Pierce's Project is one of the local funds managed by the Foundation.  This allows us to keep our administrative costs to a minimum so that we can make a larger impact in the Charlotte area.
